Outreach Services

Outreach Services serves patrons who have special needs and have difficulty using the library through traditional means. If you are eligible, Yakima Valley Libraries can deliver materials to your home or living facility at no cost to you.

Library materials include books (regular and large print), DVD’s, music CD’s, audiobooks and magazines.  Our trained staff can help you place items on hold, select materials for you based on your reading preferences, help you download electronic materials and help you sign up for the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library.

If you are in an assisted living facility or nursing home, Outreach Services can bring a cart of materials to your facility offering you the opportunity to browse and select materials yourself.
