Kids and teens, we’re excited to announce a Winter Reading Challenge for you this year! Visit your local library to pick up your game card and get started. The challenge begins January 1, 2024 and ends April 1, 2024.
HOW TO PLAY
You’ll notice the game card contains six boxes that highlight different types (or genres) of books. Each time you finish reading, or listening to, a book that matches one of the genres, color in a snowflake in the corresponding box. When you’ve finished TWO of the same type of book, bring your activity card to the library to receive a special Winter Reading Badge!
There are also boxes labeled January, February & March. Ask library staff to initial those spaces after you complete a library activity. Library activities could include: attending a program/event, borrowing a STEM/STEAM activity kit, checking out a boardgame, and more.
