For more information, see Connecting to YVL wireless, a Guide for portable devices.

Library staff provides assistance to connect to our wireless network. Please consult your user’s manual, or contact your hardware or software provider for any additional assistance. The Yakima Valley Libraries is not responsible for any changes that you make to your device settings and cannot guarantee that your hardware will work with our wireless connection.

You are responsible for setting up your own equipment. If you are not familiar with computers or networking, we recommend bringing someone with you who can help you configure your laptop in attempting to connect to our free, wireless Internet service. Wireless Internet access uses radio frequency signals to move information between your device and the Internet. No cables are required. This allows you to bring in your own device and get Internet access.

Guest access: Please check at the circulation desk for information about connecting to the wireless internet service.
