Apply to Be on the Library’s Board of Trustees!

There is an upcoming vacancy for the Library District’s Board of Trustees!

The Board of Trustees is a volunteer, five-person governing body appointed by the Yakima County Commissioners.

The Library’s Trustees are responsible for policy-making and oversight of the Library’s budget and buildings. The Board of Trustees also hires and supervises the Library’s Executive Director who, in turn, operates the Library District according to the policies, goals, and objectives approved by the Board of Trustees.

The upcoming position begins in January 2022 and applications will be accepted by the Yakima County Commissioners until December 10, 2021.
