    PEGASUS PUPPET THEATRE

    Space is full of stars. But how did those stars get their names? Join us for a fun puppet show that brings Roman and Greek myths to life, illuminating the stories behind constellations such as Hydra, Leo and Pegasus! Bring the whole family and cheer for heroes and titans, alike!

    It’s “Take Your Child to Work Day” at NASA, and you’re invited to tag along to find out what it’s like to be in space! Visit Mission Control, meet scientists and engineers, and learn all about space travel.

    WHERE IN THE WORLDS - WORKSHOPS

    During these educational workshops, presented by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, young astronomers will learn how the solar system orbits the sun, make their own meteorite impact craters, and compare the sizes of the planets from the tiniest terrestrial worlds to the most gargantuan gas giants.

    PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER - SPACE ODYSSEY EXHIBIT

    Blast off on an amazing celestial journey with these hands-on exhibits hosted by the Pacific Science Center. Explore meteorites, constellations and Jupiter’s storms. Manipulate a robot arm and explore the Martian terrain. What would the Big Dipper look like from the other side of the universe? How much do you weigh on Venus? Find out answers to these questions and more!
