In celebration of 80 years of library service to the Yakima County, we invite community members to fill a 2024 Time Capsule with various items representing our community in today’s time.* Join our district-wide events to write a letter to the future and enjoy crafts and a scavenger hunt! Event dates, times, and locations are listed below.
*Drop off 2024 Time Capsule donations at your nearest YVL branch. Items must be smaller than a cell phone, with the exception of photographs.** No food or drinks accepted.
**If you would like to contribute a digital photograph, please send it to (subject line: Time Capsule) with your name, a description, and the library you most often frequent. We will print it for you!
